There are so many festivals in Fall in Vermont, it's hard to pick which ones to attend. Here are a few local kid-friendly favorites to suit every taste:
JUST FOR FUN!

Ever tried a corn maze? You’ve never seen a corn maze like this! Now through mid-October, the Green Vermont Corn Maze in Danville, VT is so enormous and so complex, they actually recommend you arrive no later than 1:00 p.m. to allow yourself enough time to solve the maze!
DELICIOUS DEALS!

Sept 23-24. Fall-themed food, fun and entertainment! Homemade soups, pies, cider doughnuts, cider, burgers, and more! Plus the infamous ‘clutter barn’ sale, local crafts, antiques and yard sales, a parade on Saturday morning, hay rides and more! There is parking for a fee at the event, plus free parking down the road with a shuttle service. Otherwise, be prepared to park and walk! But don’t worry if you end up walking- plenty of residents get in on the fun and host their own yard sales all the way to the festival and back along the roadside.
SCIENCE & CREATIVITY!

Sept 23-24. The annual Champlain Mini Maker Faire is a gathering of people- from engineers to hobbyists, scientists, students and more- to show off their inventions and great ideas! Lots to see, hear, and do, with many booths offering hands on activities for kids! Be sure not to miss the legendary ChampBot challenge! Hosted at the beautiful Shelburne Farms Coach Barn, this is an exciting day for people of all ages to enjoy invention, art and creativity – and maybe be inspired to create something of their own!
