REALTOR®
One of the things I enjoy about the size of the real estate market in the Burlington area is that it is small enough that I can keep in touch with all its aspects. Over the last four years, I have been involved in more $1 Million+ Real Estate transactions than any other Vermont REALTOR®. My business, however, is not limited to the luxury market. I've sold hundreds of properties from starter homes in the $250,000 range to luxury properties over $2 million. I find working with first time buyers as exciting as working with multi-million dollar clients. It's refreshing to share in the enthusiasm of a first-time buyer.
Coming Home
In 1991, Brian and his wife decided to leave their hectic life in Manhattan for the simpler pleasures of Vermont, wanting to raise their children in Burlington, Brian's home town.
So, after ten fast-paced years on Wall Street as a currency trader, Brian joined Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman. One of Vermont's oldest companies, Hickok & Boardman's real estate division is a Coldwell Banker franchise with more than 90 full-time agents and staff, as well as relocation services.
The other Hickok & Boardman companies include financial planning and insurance services.
A Passion For Excellence
Brian has been a top producer since joining the firm and is now the number one real estate agent in Burlington. The real estate magazine Unique Homes has called Brian the only "mega-realtor" in the state of Vermont, reflecting not just his outstanding sales record but his commitment to his clients and his passion for excellence.
Recognition in the Media
Brian has been quoted in numerous national newspapers & magazines such as Wall Street Journal, New York Times & Boston Globe as the expert in Vermont residential real estate. In 2016, he was quoted in Best of Burlington's Trend Watch issue for an article on on Smart Homes. In 2013, he was interviewed for Best of Burlington Magazine's Fall 2013 issue and in duPont Registry: A Buyers Gallery of Fine Homes, for it's New England-themed issue. In 2012, he was quoted in the Wall Street Journal's 2012 eBook "30 Great Places To Retire" reflecting on the City of Burlington, VT as a popular destination for active, younger retirees. In that same year, Brian and his company were featured in Business People Vermont. In 2010, he hosted a reporter from the Wall Street Journal's SmartMoney magazine for an article on real estate agents in today's economy. He was also quoted in an article on the Lake Champlain region of Vermont in the July/Aug 2010 issue of Robb Report's Exceptional Properties magazine. He was also voted Best Real Estate Agent in Chittenden County in the 2016 Annual Seven Daysies Award, an honor which his company as a whole has held for ten years in a row as Best Real Estate Company!
